This page contains all the information relevant to the ZeroPhone 3D design, both materials and existing cases - at some point, the cases will be moved to a separate page. ZP Gamma case by Ninjalicious
This case was designed by Ninjalicious for the ZeroPhone Gamma (not suitable for Delta). It's good enough for day-to-day tasks, though it does make the phone look bulkier.
STEP model of ZeroPhone
This model is a result of a STEP export from KiCad, coupled with some Solidworks work to merge all the parts together. The current STEP model version is V3, created on 31 Mar. 2019, and is suitable for designing cases around. This model represents both Delta and Delta-B revisions. There's no STEP model for the Gamma ZeroPhone yet. The base files were exported from KiCad 5 as STEP, then aligned and tweaked in SolidWorks 2016. The source files for SolidWorks will be made available at some point.
- v2 had the incorrect spacing between headers (due to default KiCad 3D models for pin sockets being 7mm high, instead of the usual 9mm). Therefore, the cases designed around this model will not fit a real-life ZeroPhone - however, the cases should be easy to change, as the difference between models is exactly 2mm.
